Resident Evil Revelations art book
Please credit me/this post if you use the pictures below. I spent hours taking pictures of it and uploading it on tumblr. Thanks.
Just got the Biohazards Revelations Unveiled Edition Official Complete Works (wow that’s a very long name) art book. It’s in Japanese and I don’t know how to read it but that aside, I’m here for the art. =PI took the pics with my camera so there will be glare at times. Blame the light coming in from the window. ;)
Book opens up to a few promo pics of Jill, Chris, Parker, and Jessica. Some of them have already been floating around on tumblr so I’ll share the ones I find interesting. Jill looks really cool here.

The artbook has like 12 pages dedicated to Jessica with A LOT of concept art for her wet suit and snow suit. I wish we had more concept art for the other characters. =/
It also looks like they might have wanted to make her a blonde since there’s a lot of sketches of her with either blonde or brown hair.
I kinda like this outfit.

I never knew the Scagdead’s bear trap thing has roots underground. Very cool.
There’s a mouth in the spine of the Scarmiglione?! Ugh. It also looks like they wanted its upper body to crawl on the ground too. Wouldn’t that be scary?
The Draghignazzo is very messy…

You really have to wonder what the Capcom team was smoking to draw all these morbidly fascinating concept art.

It would have been nice to see Oozes still having clothes on.
The Abominable Snowman? Or is that an infected mountain goat? I’m glad this wasn’t included in the game.

Back of Parker’s vest has the BSAA logo on it. Very nice. I wonder if “Saving the world one B.O.W. at a time” is really the BSAA’s motto. Hmm…
Some stuff I didn’t include would be pictures of the environment which is what you see in the game and some promotional posters of the game which you can see online and on youtube. Overall, nice buy. There might be an English version released next year or so? The English version of the RE5 artworks was launched a year after the Japanese one so you might want to wait for a translation…?
