Misty and Serena Headcanon
The first conversation involving both Misty and Serena is rather off-putting, mostly because it begins with Misty shouting, “Ash, you idiot!”
Serena is immediately tempted not to like this girl who Ash claims is an old friend of his because she certainly doesn’t treat him that way. She listens to the redhead rant on for the next fifteen minutes about how irresponsible he is for things like never calling or, more importantly, almost getting himself killed by leaping off of Prism Tower (which was such an outrageous feat that it earned a few newscasting time-slots even back in Kanto).
She halfheartedly introduces herself and internally assumes that she and this girl can never be friends because she doesn’t seem to know the meaning of the word.
As soon as the phone conversation ends, Ash turns to Serena and asks what she thinks of Misty. Serena gives him a tight-lipped smile and admits that she isn’t sure, can’t quite understand her, and wonders what Ash sees in her to let her treat him the way she does. (She tries her hardest to keep the last bit inside but it tumbles from her lips before she can stop it and she realizes she hasn’t been this frustrated about something since before leaving home when she couldn’t get her mom to listen to her about Rhyhorn racing.)
Ash gives a lighthearted chuckle and just says that that’s how Misty treats her friends, how she’s always been towards him. He makes it sound as if maybe he deserved it sometimes, and adds that he definitely gave as good as he got. It’s just how their friendship is.
But he tells her with a stern gaze that, more than anything, he knows that Misty is his friend through and through and that she loves him more than almost anyone.
Serena is shaken by his choice of words. He hardly ever says love in terms of anything, including his relationship with Pikachu. (She knows that the love is there, he just never so much as speaks it.)
She knows she should feel envious, more skeptical, anxious (she usually does when stuff like this crops up) but instead she feels she may have found a kindred spirit in the redheaded girl she’d all but said five words to because - whatever her vices, her concerns or fears - they’re in the same boat.
They both deeply care for - love - this boy that they’ve met and are both entirely unable to speak the words to convey that emotion to him. So they’re stuck where they are, feeling as they do, and hoping unendingly for something to change.
Later on, Serena does still find it difficult to approach Misty due to her somewhat coarse temperament, but she silently understands where the girl is coming from and takes the underlying meaning of her verbal abuses to heart, even when they’re about the boy she thinks the world of.

The thing (aside from my apartment trouble) is that my parents have to gather 2000€+ because of me. Why? Well, you see.. child allowence is in effect until you are 25 here ONLY if you are in school or registered at the jobcenter and I dropped school three years ago out of health issues (huge depression and burn-out) and still received child allowence and ahahhaha 3 years later (now) my parents got a letter telling them that we need to pay that back. They said I can’t do anything anyway but [guiltyallthesame.mp3]
But hey!! Who cares about a sick person as long is the topic is money!! UGH.

Upon seeing these test things a lot, I noticed there wasn’t one for Pokemon anime characters, so I decided to put one together. (If there’s already one then I’m really sorry!)
It was really hard matching up characters for this, and I tried to only include main cast members (which didn’t work as you can see; also I couldn’t figure out how to include Bonnie), but my sister and I thought this was at least semi-fitting for each character!
Ahhh I’m sorry if anyone thinks it’s inaccurate!! ;n; I’ll take feedback if someone thinks someone else would be more fitting for anything. I tried really hard though, but mainly I just made this for fun! (I’m also very sorry my photoshop skills are bad)

Ragyo Kiryuin preview! …Of course I realized immediately after I took my makeup off that I’d forgot to put on the collar but oh well. This also does not include the feather boa/cape, but I wanted to be sure to put some preview pics up before Colossalcon!
The wig took forever and a day, but I’m actually really happy with how it turned out. There were a few things I’d really wanted to accomplish with it: It needed to both light up and look good while turned off. It also needed to be portable for wearing around a convention. I find that EL wire tends to not photograph well during the daytime, while LEDs can be too bright if they aren’t diffused. So I ended up packing a hollow foam space with superbright 5050 LEDs, and then diffusing them with wig fiber laid on top of a plexiglass screen. The wig runs off of 4 to 8 AA’s and is monstrously bright - the color is hard to see on cameraphones while in darker spaces, but I’m looking to experiment with the voltage to get a more consistent photo range. I’ll be putting up a wig guide with progress pics after the con too.
